Compact and stylish, the device is fully USB Bus Powered and allows users to read and write to standard 3.5" Floppy Disks to a formatted capacity of 1.44Mbytes - the industry standard. With fast read and write times and the ability to be used with a variety of Operating Systems including Windows® and MAC® OS X. Fully USB1.1 compatible and yielding a high data transfer rate of up to 250k bits per second, the USB-FDD is ideal for both Desktop, Servers and Mobile users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works.. and well Bought this floppy drive and answered my own question on it…. It does work with Windows 10 (64bit). Discs that I have used are all 1.44 & 2.0Mb, but I have no doubt that it will read the smaller capacity 720kb as well. OK it’s a bit like waiting for Christmas 2025 when it comes to loading a file, but that was only to be expected, but to see some of my work I’ve not seen for decades was worth the £11, my only problem is that I cannot see my old CorelDraw graphics as my X7 version does not support the old Version 5 CDR files. – Win 10 recognised the drive immediately and give it the usual “A” drive letter. Definitely a snip if you still have some old 3½” floppies you would like to view. As usual the 5 star are also for SCAN & DPD Couriers for their excellent service.

Win 10?

Can anyone say if this device would work on a Windows 10 (64bit) PC - found a cart load of floppies & would love to see if anything of use is on them. Thanks in anticipation, Ray.
