Desk Boom ArmRODE's 'PSA1' is a studio boom arm ideal for radio, broadcast, studio and home use. The PSA1 offers a horizontal reach of 820mm, a vertical reach of 840mm and full 360 degree rotation. It is supplied with velcro cable wraps and both desk-clamp and desk-insert style attachments for versatile mounting in desks up to 55mm thick (clamp) or 70mm (insert).

Designed for the RØDE Procaster and Podcaster, the PSA1 supports most microphones weighing between 700g (1.5lb) and 1.1kg (2.4lb) when combined with shock mount. Please note that the PSM1 shock mount is sold separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another excellent product from RØDE Not sure what item Peter123.. was actually reviewing but totally agree with the assessment of this Studio Boom Arm from Scotsy. RØDE appear to make really good quality equipment and this boom arm is just another example. This boom is a very well made product that feels solid and built to last. It does a good impression of a bittern hiding in the reeds when first installed but once a microphone has been attached it becomes wonderfully manoeuvrable but stable when in use. This boom arm also has the options for being able to be clamped to ones desk or fitted through a hole once you have found the optimum position. The boom arm also comes with a number of handy Velcro cable ties and the ‘elbow’ has a chamfer for the cable. I feel that RØDE have probably taken the last reviewers warnings to heart, as my boom came with numerous warning and the two spring loaded arms were suitably restrained. Overall a very well engineered product with an excellent finish and would certainly recommend this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy - don't cheap out on a mic arm! I made the mistake of buying a Mic arm for about £15 before. One of the springs flew off and nearly took my eye out. I learned my lesson and decided to buy one of the most highly reviewed arms out there. Best decision ever. The quality is just amazing, the weight of the arm itself, the quality of the grip and the fact that it isn't leaving huge marks on my desk like my last arm has already made it worth the price. It's highly maneuverable and incredibly sturdy. Things to note if you buy: - The arm is spring loaded, be careful when you take it out of the box as it will pop open. - The metal bars move parallel to one another when you move the arm so watch your fingers! - The arm will move to a neutral position with no mic attached, but will stick once a mic is attached.
