ScanProtect
Protection against installation damage
ScanProtect is an enhanced warranty specifically designed and offered by Scan to reduce the risk of any mishap or damage to components during installation. Our aim with ScanProtect is to encourage our customers to upgrade or build their own PC confidently. For a small additional fee our customers are provided with complete peace of mind.
Please DO NOT confuse this with the "Upsell Extended Warranties" offered by your typical high street retailers, ScanProtect has been designed as a low cost protection against installation damage.
The ScanProtect Agreement
The ScanProtect agreement has been designed by Scan to provide you with additional warranty protection over and above the standard manufacturer’s warranty. For a small additional charge ScanProtect is offered as an option in your basket for all qualifying components purchased from Scan, providing you with additional protection for
any mishap or damage to the component during installation.
If you damage or break your component during installation, Scan will replace them free of charge.
The usual Manufacturer’s warranty only covers the replacement of faulty goods, not damaged goods, ScanProtect extends the warranty to include any mishap or damage during installation. (Your statutory rights are not affected)
Even our most experienced customers know how easy it is to bend connecting pins, snap internal cables and fixings or even simply dropping the component.
Mishaps do happen. Give yourself peace of mind with ScanProtect.
