3XS Passive DAW
Our 3XS Silent DAW range all feature a selection of passively cooled components and hardware choices that ensure there are no moving parts found within these systems. The range features CPU’s from AMD’s powerful yet efficient high-end Ryzen range, with this model featuring the great value Ryzen 7 7700 8C/16T CPU solution for superb performance in even the quietest of recording spaces.
This system has 32GB of Corsair memory included, which we find is great for a recording and editing solution at this level, including being perfect for typical band recording sessions. We do however ensure that we leave you two additional memory slots free, just so that if you should wish to expand further in the future then you will have an easy upgrade route ready and waiting. The board can handle a total of 96GB of RAM, ensuring it can be expanded to meet the needs of most users for many years to come.
For the OS drive, we include a super quick 500GB Seagate FireCuda 530 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD drive for your Windows installation and audio applications, which should have plenty of space to host your sequencer of choice as well as all of your plugins. Alongside that OS drive, we have a secondary 1TB Solidigm P41 Plus PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, perfect for all of your large sound libraries in order to speed up project load times and your instrument browsing. Should you also wish to migrate over your old project drives or if you just want to ensure that you will be able to add in additional storage in the future, then rest assured that this system has another 2 M.2 drive mounts along with 4 additional SATA drive connections making it certain to be able to accommodate all those too.
The models found in our ready to ship series are all fully tested and configured to ensure the widest compatibility possible with common studio software programs, and to ensure the smoothest of experiences when running your studios crucial studio applications. During this initial validation phase, we test with all the popular audio sequencers including industry leaders such as Cubase, Pro Tool, Sonar, Studio One, Ableton, Bitwig, Reaper and FL Studio in order to ensure the widest compatibility straight out of the box. This means that once you receive your system, you will be able to set it up along with your audio interface & software of choice and be ready to go with the absolute minimum of fuss.
