Just connect to the USB ports, let your computer recognise it, put your CD in and it works perfectly- very simple and easy to use, just as I’d hoped it would be- so far, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Both machines found it with no problem. Only (minor) issue is that it requires 2 usb ports - OK on a desktop, occasionally difficult on a small laptop.

Is this device USB 2 or USB 3?

Is this device USB 2 or USB 3? The details are somewhat vague and it seems almost identical to the "silver" version".

I notice this comes with a couple of 4.7 GB M-DISCS. Will it also burn 25&50 GB discs?

No it can't burn them but looks like it can burn 8.5Gb
