Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Big When we are all used to slimline bus powered units, this comes as a shock as the pictures do not show the amount of space it takes on your desk. I had to run it on the supplied stand sideways which means the discs are only just held in place while the drawer is extended. It is a plug and play device and my MacBook recognised it straight away, no drivers necessary. The supplied software is not much use to me, better to get commercially available versions. It is fast, it is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not up to spec Since Scan have asked for a review I'll write it, but bear in mind that I am about to contact them because basically this device does not work to its spec. Specifically it is NOT compatible with 128GB discs, despite what it "says on the tin". Not good. I have tested with100GB, 50Gb and 25GB and those all work.

Does this drive support M-Disc on Bluray as well as DVD?

In the spec it references M-Disc only against DVD, but not Bluray. Can you please confirm whether it supports M-disc on Bluray as well? Thanks
