It doesn't matter whether the host computer is equipped with a USB Type-C or Type-A interface, the 4K monitor support remains the same. The only requirement is that the minimum USB standard USB 3.2 Gen 1 is supported. The matching adapter is included in the scope of delivery.
Power Delivery Works Too
The possibility of connecting a headset is just as obligatory as the support of Power Delivery up to 100 watts via a supported PD Type-C® host connection as soon as a corresponding power supply unit is connected. Note: Power supply unit is not included in the scope of delivery.
Mobile Dock With Dual 4K: Provided the latest DisplayLink driver software is installed, up to two 4K@60 Hz monitors can be connected either via DisplayPort or HDMI.
Quickly On The Move: Via a host PC with USB 3.1 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt™ 3/4 technology, data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s are available at the additional USB Type-A ports. A headset jack is mandatory.
Stable On The Web: If you want to exploit maximum data transfer rates with maximum security, then a LAN cable connection is preferable to WLAN, in the home office as well as in the office.
Available If Needed: Supports PD up to 100 watts via a supported PD Type-C host connection once an appropriate power supply is connected (power supply not included) .
